Just tried the demo, probably will not buy this game. Not really into the whole futureistic battlefield thing. I'll stick to Counter-Strike 1.6 and source. :)

Apparently that error is a directx error, try upgrading to the latest version from microsofts website. I'm downloading the demo now, I'll try it out this week.

I need to start backing up regularily, all my music and game files, as well as my documents and websites.

Actually I just bought a new computer desk last week. It is a huge desk, for the size of my room, and once I buy an LCD (in the next month or so, after I sell my laptop) it will seem even bigger. I will post pictures once I've finished moving back into my room.

Try switching the cable out with another one of the same type

Maybe remove havana and airstrip from the rotation, and add some fun maps (scoutzknivez, iceworld, etc) to the server but not in rotation.
