But I don't like MMOs...
We all have that friend(s). Someone who has never really gotten into the whole MMO thing. Usually if they are gamers they want to stick with FPS or RTS and in comparison most MMOs have been too slow and had too much story for them to get involved. Along comes Guild Wars 2. This game has the potential to break away from the traditional slower pace and grind commonly found in MMOs. With inspiration for game speed from FPS and the new need for tactical precision found in RTS GW2 is offering a much larger number of gamers a unique and fun experience. You may be tempted to invite your FPS/RTS only friends to jump in and play GW1 so they can have access to all the goodies in the Hall of Monuments but I suggest restraint. GW1 and GW2 are two completely different games. If you want to win them over to your genre you will need to show off the best it has to offer. Right now, no game can even smell what GW2 is cooking. So be patent. Wait for GW2 to release when you can give them another one of you free 10 day trial keys. In the mean time share this video with them. If they are hardcore gamers they will appreciate the amount of passion and unique style Anet is bringing to their newest game.
