Where is gone:(

I agree. Anyone have a good idea on an approach? Start a thread on the tech support forums or something?

options and information

Linky

Apparently Where you are not the only one according to the WoW forums.

Here is a linky to the WoW section of the forums that might assist Where in getting back his account and might give us some direction in assisting.

I am thinking all of us should do a follow up post to this guys thread or having Where drop a thread on the matter then we all and I mean all of us post a follow up. It looks like Blizz is having a hard time with all the gold spammers, power levelers and what not and are banning for logging into the game from different PC's in short time frames. I know that Where does this often and this could be the root of his issues.

Fight the good fight my friend and Where will be back ganking in no time. We are here with you.

EDIT---EDITION

Here is the link to the Account Administration website. It has a link to the exact issue you are having Where. I am still reading but thought to put this here if you had not seen it prior.

posted a reply to http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.html?topicId=98891714&sid=1

its been 2 days and my last email from them basically said I let someone else use my acct and they used a third party program that exploited wow and they werent gonna reply to me anymore:( I havent ever even let a guildie use my acct lol, ask Jaxter how much he asked and I would never let him. Its only ever been Beth and I and both computers. But that doesnt explain the exploit, they say they cant tell me exactly what was done so I have no clue if it was someone hacked it and spammed for gold or what. Blizzard told me it is my responsibility to keep my login information secure:(

fidlesticks. Shenanigans. I'll put up a supportive post when I'm not as emotional. I want to come across concerned, not like a jerk.

This really is a bummer. I can't imagine playing for years and then getting the rug pulled out on you for untrue claims.

What ever happened to Innocent until proven guilty

Well, if this were a criminal case, then yeah. It's not, though.

The truth is that Blizzard legally owns our characters and everything on them. They are entirely within their legal rights to do whatever they want to with any of our accounts. Obviously, they're not stupid and realize that alienating large numbers of their paying customers is not a recipe for success. They do, however, have a vested interest in eliminating bots, farmers, exploiters, and such.

Now, with that said, I also want to make it entirely clear that I believe Where to be 100% innocent of any actual wrongdoing in this situation.

We need to keep in mind, though, Blizzard's position if we want to help him to get his account back. We need to realize that painting Blizzard with a broad brush isn't going to help his case. Approach them with respect, acknowledging their legitimate objective of keeping the game as free of exploiters and other 'undesirables', as possible, and then operating within that framework to try to clear Where's good name.

I have heard of cases where respectful persistence has achieved positive results, and I'd love to help in any way possible, but as much fun as it may be to talk of storming the gates at Blizzard, that's not really going to help anyone.

As they say, you catch more flies with molasses than you do with vinegar. I've found it to be true by experience hundreds of times.

They do have a security check on the road near the Blizz office buildling. I got lost once ended up there ... I get very disoriented on the UC Irvine campus (which houses the corporate park where Bliz makes its home).

Having said that, he looked like a pretty low-rent security guard, I'm pretty sure even a gnome coulda taken 'im if said gnome were in a stormin' mood... Or, if one had a flying mount, an assault could proceed up the hill from the adjoining toll road...

wow this is wrong....i mean with runescape they would give u a second chance because YOU were paying THEM. i dont see why the bliz ppl have to be so rude we r the ones paying them.....its so weird. Also they should look at the entire account history not just the "recent" 2 day history. Also accounts should be for say watched aka staked out for a couple days to build truth into their bans.
