hehehe, a firewall != hackproof. The userland firewalls that windows have are all iffy at best. Nothing beats a dedicated firewall box.

I love how in winxp home the default for the administration account is no password. f8 and your into 50% of everyones home computer...

It is similar to what m$ has done with ldap but atleast they tried at first.
Just dump m$ products, particuarly the msn client and ie. Dont open files from unkown people. And chances are you wont have issues for a few months.

AM2 AMD 4800+ (Crossfire rdy)
AM2 Motherboard forget the name (Crossfire rdy)
DDR2 667 Ram 2 gig
2 WD Raptor hard Drives 36.6 gig
1 WD 250 Gig Hard Drive
Sapphire x1900xtx ATI Grphics Card (Crossfire ready)
22" LCD Monitor

Xp seemed way more practical for what I do and Vibro you can bash me all you want will just make me not like Linux all the more. Before I read this thread I was carefully considering linux based system. I was totally turned off from them since. heiscomingsoon thank you for your posts yours were very helpfull and informative and helped me realize that xp is perfectly fine for what I need it for.
