Bible Verses!!

Right version? That statement alone has some pretty deep implications, don't you think? I think the KJV is very accurate but not without political interference, like all translations. But it alone is not the right verion. But this is not the thread to discuss what or why one version is more accurate then the other.

OH, no! You were good! I took it verrrrrrry seriously! I will never mess around about a man's versions again!
Actually, I think we have had that post on versions, DV started it wondering how we knew the Bible was true...may have been buried...may have been stinking before it was buried! No, I think we managed to get through it very civilized like:) lol

Here's a couple.

201. Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.
Mark 2:17

202. Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy--meditate on these things. Phil 4:8

Y'know, that Phil guy wrote some good stuff. ;)

And, I apologize if either of those are repeats, I'm at work and post between taking calls. :D

Dr. Phil??? ;)

As I seek out verses that I particularly like, I was thinking about that. I could park in Psalms all day, then there's Phil...Romans 8, JOY!!!!!! Pure joy! I don't think the salvation verses can ever lose their sweetness either! There seems to be certain books that we/I are/am drawn to.

Sir, I have been such a verse hog, if you haven't already started using the verses I can go back and change one that I have for something else. I am trying to be a good administrator. Therefore, I am keeping up with what we have given you thus far.

Go ahead, do what you wish with the verses you supplied. I'll let you know once I have began using the scriptures.

Sir, I noticed that the edit button does not seem to be available for the older posts. I will put the ones I have already done following this post since I am unable to place them in the post I had reserved above.
I am now working on 203~300! :) This is fun!!!

Well, I don't know what brand of root-beer I was drinking last night ;)

Sorry that I completely ignored your post..the edit button works fine for me.:)

I haven't checked other threads. But on this one, I can edit what I posted yesterday, but it will not allow me to go back further than that. It is okay, not really a problem. I'll just post in the spot available when I am finished.
There doesn't seem to be many people posting. I feel badly, I am in hopes that I didn't run them off by being greedy with the verses. Oh, may I be hoggish for His Word in every area of my life! May it consume every thought, every Word, every dream, every breathe! May I eat, live, breath, His Word.

lol, I enjoy reading your scriptures Marcylene. You certainly didn't run me off; you can even consider me as a fan, lol.

Ah, Bowser, that is precious! Thank you, kind sir, I needed that! :) May we grow in the LORD through this verse venture together!!

SirThom, tell me when to stop! I was going to supply you with 365, or not stop until there were that many posted here! Now, I could go for a ten year plan! Or, how about lets just get you to put the whole entire Bible on verse, by verse...ohhh, that reminds me of another...line upon line, precept upon precept....lol

:D

I know it depends on the version of the Bible you are using, but I think there's a limit as to how many times you can use certain portions of the Bible. Dunno...are your verses in KJV or NKJV?

------

Edit: Looks like your verses are in KJV. I think, as long as you're not displaying chapters and chapters at a time, then it's okay. This is just one verse per day, anyway.

KJV! ugh ohh, now you tell me! If you are talking copyright, the King James Version is the only one we can copy away until our hearts are content!

I think that as long as we don't display whole chapters, we're good, regardless of the version, anyway. :)

So what did you mean by using certain portions of the Bible? I also have another question, I will start a verse, and the ones around it are just get gooder n' gooder, lol...so I sometimes put several verses together, is that okay?

:p :p :p

I am on about 250 now. I think I will shoot for the entire 365. I will edit and delete some of mine if anyone wants to add before I get them up. okeee dokie? I will change anything needed that you may see needs it, for example, if putting more than one verse per number is out of the question!

I appreciate you giving me this opportunity very much. I am praying as I go, that the LORD, as promised, will not let His Word come back void in whatever capacity that it may be used.

a. Like, whatever is posted cannot account for a whole book of the Bible. There are rules like that when doing stuff without permission. However, we are fine in our case.
b. You can put a few verses together if you like, sure :)
c. If you want 365, go right ahead. :)
d. You're welcome.

As I said, I will update this thread so I can show you guys where the verses are going, once I can.
