Xbox Game Suggestions (NOT 360)

Bonk!Ow!

Just ordered it for 45 dollars like new off half.com (15 dollar shipping, split the total cost w/ sister for 30 dollars each, plus bought Halo 2 so total cost I paid was like 40 bucks, xbox came with all cords, blah blah, 2 controllers) and got to thinking.

If I just live with Halo 2 for the rest of forever on the Xbox (which I bought because it's a lot cheaper nowadays, since the 360 came out and it's still a great multiplayer thing since I don't do much LAN gaming except for.. well... the Halo demo for PC  ), people will think I bought it just for Halo 2, which is only PARTLY true.

So. What games would you guys recommend? I've already got KOTOR I and II and Morrowind all for the PC... plus BFME: II :p but anyway I was looking for other lowerish costing games that came out for the original Xbox that have good multiplayer. (In the past couple months, I have become a HUGE fan of multiplayer as opposed to singleplayer, so much more in-depth and fulfilling... if you can call gaming fulfilling  )

Anyway, sorry for all the parenthetical elements. :p

The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape From Butcher Bay is a VERY fulfilling single player game, I'm really not sure if it has multi or not, but still.

I only really played fighters for multi on Xbox games, I don't plan on ever paying to play a game online, I already pay for the internet.

Tao Feng: Fist of the Lotus is fun though, and Soul Calibur 2. You can get those for probably like $5 total at EBStop

Haha, EBStop. The mall I go to occasionally had an EBGames but, well, you know.

Anyway, yeah what I'm looking for is fighters BUT ALSO maybe a racing game sort of thing, but nothing NASCAR or something like that. :P I just don't like the "drive in circles 300 times and then do it again in a different stadium with slightly grayer pavement and more lights"

If your computer can handle it (and more importantly, if your stomach can handle it...), I strongly recommend Bioshock. It is ridiculously fun and very addictive, despite some parts of the game being over-the-top gruesome.

Bioshock = major disappointment. I wasn't happy with it at all. I can't understand why it was received so well by so many news publications.

My favorite xbox games were, besides the Halos, Ninja Gaiden and Fable. However, they were single player, so kind of irrelevant in this discussion.

For multiplayer, I think the top xbox live games were Halo 2 and one of the Rainbow Six games. No other rings a bell right now.

But seriously, Ninja Gaiden is the greatest game ever. Ninjas. Blood. Wow.

SW BattleFront II and SW Republic Commando are quite fun on the original Xbox. BattleFront II being the more multiplayer oriented of the two. They should both be rather cheap by now.

Uhm...Fable...Ninja Gaiden...Halo 1...Mechassault, Soul Calibur 2..Dead or Alive 3...Mortal Kombat: Shalolin Monks...i can't spell becasue im running out ennergy, aand I'd have to dig through my xbox games for the rest

If your looking for racing games, Burnout Revenge is the way to go. Definitely agree that Soul Caliber 2 is a must buy for fighter fans.

Yeah, the PC version is... what? Ten bucks for Battlefront II and ten bucks for SW: RP? Also, I totally forgot about SC II. *facepalm*

Xbox games, people! XBOX!!

:P

are you lookign for more xbox live multiplayer, or jsut multiplayer in general?

if ur an rpg fan PSO is great, but live is required even to play offline.

advent rising was rlly good, although not multiplayer. kinda short but rlly fun nonetheless. burnout is pretty good for multiplayer, so are the MK series and SC II. ninja gaiden is a must get, id reccomend playing thru the first few lvls then redoing it since the game is EPIC hard. mechassault2 is great also, fun multiplayer with friends.

if i think of more ill post it later.

Ok, do you mean Xbox 360 games for the PC, or do you mean the first gen. Xbox games?

I r confused.

And how can you possibly not like Bioshock...

srsly now...

I'm pretty sure I was clear when I put "(NOT 360)" in the title of the thread. What else is left?

First Gen Xbox would have been helpful :). I refer to the new Xbox as simply an Xbox, and since some of its games are out on the PC, to me they are Xbox games not for the 360.

An honest mistake :P
