Xbox Elite $204 with free 2day ship!

Already sold out. :(

And I would advise against buying a Xbox 360 online anyway. It's best to see the physical product in the store and make sure you get a 360 with a Jasper chipset. (See this guide for more info.)

I actually highly recommend getting an Xbox from dell, they have the Jaspers as confirmed by many (including my own) and they have a 100% return policy if they ship you a non-jasper.

Plus this price is amazing, would be a shame to pass it up. Keep checking, it goes back in stock in waves.

I did not know that.

Do you have a link confirming Dell's policy? It sounds too awesome and consumer-friendly for me to easily believe it's from Dell.

You can find it in their "Total Satisfaction Return Policy" It states that all hardware, accessories....etc may be returned within 21 days from date on packing slip. I have used this many times. It is a no-questions asked return. You can return after the 21days but it gets alot more complicated.

woah! Glad you had me recheck, I have used this on laptops/desktops many times, I assumed it worked on Xbox too, but upon further review I found

EXCEPTIONS

DELL'S "TOTAL SATISFACTION" RETURN POLICY does not apply to the following products which may not be returned at any time:

* Dell EqualLogic and EqualLogic -branded products,
* Dell | EMC and EMC -branded storage products
* PowerVault ML6000 tape libraries,
* Dell | ISG product that is custom configured to your specifications and any non-Dell-branded enterprise products, enterprise software, and customized hardware or software products
* Gaming consoles and peripherals
* Personal use items such as earphones and headsets unless package is unopened

I now would not recommend them as highly for an Xbox. Tho it is still a sweeeet price. Glad mine was a jasper...phew!

Man, if they were guaranteeing units with Jasper chipsets, it would sting to pass up the deal. As it stands, though, this purchase is still a pretty big risk.

after reading a bunch of posts on this in various sites, I have seen nothing but 100% jaspers reported from Dell lately. It seems almost this entire year they have had nothing but Jaspers. It is not guaranteed anywhere but those reporting in are stoked. Of course, those that don't know/care might be getting falcons and aren't reporting in because they don't know/care.

I should start a business guaranteeing Jaspers. Ill buy a bunch form dell then mark them up $20 to guarantee a Jasper.

Dont forget the best part of this deal. You can buy a $200 giftcard for dell on Ebay for around 160 usually. This saves you $40 more!!!! I did this when i bought mine.

elites for $ 160 !!!

I picked up a pro earlier this year from Dell and it had the new chip set. Kind of wish I would have waited but if I remember I got a Pro with three games for like $215 with the deals at that time.

So I bit on this deal, check this!!

bought Dell giftcard on Ebay. Paid $160 for $200 then got $12.80 back for using BING to search for dell gift card, then I got back $3.20 for using eBay bucks free program. Total came to $144

I just got an Xbox Elite for $149+tax with shipping!

Ewoks, you are the biggest techno-gear angle-workers I've ever known. I mean, I thought the Costco quad core return policy workaround was hardcore, but what you write above is just ... golly.

Anyhow, on the topic of Xboxes ... I have non-Jasper elite ... my original Elite RRoD'ed on Christmas Day last year on its 2-year anniversay (major pwning), I got a replacement unit in January or so. I'd like to buy a 2nd power supply so it's easier to move from upstairs to downstairs. Getting extra AV hookups is easy as cake. But buying an Xbox 360 power supply is a nightmare. Amazon doesn't seem to have any clear Microsoft-OEM offerings, and I dont' want to go third party on something that's clearly a potential system-killer. Microsoft doesn't offer power supplies directly. And it seems like there are multiple power supply possibilities out there (e.g. 175W, 203W, etc) so there's the change of getting the wrong one even if I find a Microsoft one. That last part is probalby part of why they're not readily sold.

In any case, does anyone have a proven approach on this?
