Would love to see what WoW is all about but can't afford the $50 startup fee at this time. I don't suppose theres a demo of it?

Nope.

But, there are some movies. If the $50 is a problem, dont forget about the $15 per month after the first month. If you only play the free month you are not getting much of an experience.

The people who got the collectors ed. got a 10 day free trial for a friend, you could try to ask around :)

Ok so did anyone get the collectors edition?
I really want to look at the game but dont want to pay first then find out I really ont like it.

Well, those of us who have played many games might be able to help you.

Tell us what games you have played and which games you like.

For instance, if you enjoy only first person shooter games like, Half-Life, Doom or those types. You may not enjoy WoW. But, if you like those games and play some RPG's and some MMOG's then you will enjoy WoW.

Ok so are we saying that if I don't want to PvP that I need to be on a different server and once on that server there wont be any others from here to team up with? Gee this sounds like fun.

lol, sorry bud, but we can't support 16 servers all at once. We started with one, and then added a Horde PvE server fairly recently.

btw, we play our Hordes on Cenarius.

Cenarius horde, but you can make alliance characters there too, they just cant be in the guild.

7F has a guild on another server as well and I think its on a non-pvp server. (don't know for sure though) You might check there as well Councelor. Cenarius is the only non pvp server ToJ supports right now, and it is a horde guild. :) It is hard in a multi-server game to support more than one guild on multiple servers, but I think between these 3 (ToJ's 2 and 7F's 1) you might find what your looking for.

Hope this helps,

Cory

I'll look into it. Many thanks. I just know from what I've read it helps to have others help guide you when you first start out.
