World PvP

i guess that looks ok; but it's pretty much just a battleground where you dont have to queue for.

Still, I'm interested in that; I'll be sure to check it out.

World PvP with a purpose > World PvP without one.

Remember, when the PvP ranking system first came out, all the battles between Southshore and Tarren Mill? Well, the WoW population complained how that wasn't PvP. So BGs came out, and the WoW population said it wasn't PvP. So, what is PvP if this (which is the same as the old Hilsbrad Foothills battles with a purpose), then please, tell me what is?

A massive region of pvp with towers and keeps.

The side with the most towers and keeps gets a bonus to their entire populations or buff in this case.

So, if the alliance controls 8 of 10 towers/keeps in the PvP zone then everyone trying to level gains a bonus to attack, or armor or xp while leveling in the PvE zones.

PvP with purpose...

I messed around some with the silithus pvp on the test realms, it's pretty fun except for the small fact that you can't mount when you're carrying the spice, I mean melange, I mean silithyst. That means that you have to run, unmounted across the zone to turn in one, and only one unit. It'll take hours to get to a full 200, so it'd better be a really potent buff that lasts through death.

Let's face it: DAoC spoiled us. :(

Dune = OVERRATED
/gasp!

Perhaps books 2 through 5 were overrated (I couldn't stand to finish book 5, and I never started book 6), but the first book in the series is awesome. It's certainly not intended for younger readers, but it's one of the classics of sci-fi.
