I don't know a way to say this without coming across as a braggard so forgive me..but Windows 7 just became available for download for me(and other MS Partners). With my positive experiences in the beta nd RC I can't wait to convert my network over to it..

rofl..snow leopard has some nasty surprises..like on some macs you are limited to 32 bit and some get 64 bit. Of course then there's the Stupid implementation error that leaves a major security problem open for macs:

Some of the macs are only 32bit (mine being one of them as it has a core duo, not a core2). You can't exactly use what isn't there.

i consider that a huge fail on intels part imo though. I dont even have leopard yet and im not sure i want to update my macmini just because its kinda slow as is

I found out today that my status as a EE student at my university gives me similar access HCS. Downloading now. I ran the RC and beta for a little while, so I can't wait to get it.

Intel is only the supplier..anything they do is it the behst of Apple. The fruity ones are the ones "holding the basket".

I noticed a slight improvement in speed when going to leopard.

Intel has been rushing out incremental fixes to existing architectures for years, they basically just took two penium Ms and glued them together for the Core Duo.
