Win XP Home Random Bluescreen problem

For some time I have been getting random reboots and I disabled
the automatic restart thing and had bluescreens sometimes.

I written down this error message from one of the Bluescreens:

Stop 0X0000008E(0XC0000005,0XBF809382,0XB&052844,
0X00000000

Win32k.sys - Address BF809382 base at BF800000, DateStamp 461668f2

Beginning dump of physical memory

i think Had Acronis Try and Decide on before Bluescreen
Pushed Restart on Computer box and when it shown harddrive and dvdrom
drives it took little bit longer before changing screens to boot windows XP

Then when Win XP Home started up

The error message The system has recovered from a serious error with
error signature of BCCode: 1000008e BCP1: C0000005 BCP2: BF809382 BCP3:B7052844
BCP4: 00000000 OSVer: 5_1_2600 SP: 2_0 Product 768_1

I've had bluescreens with different error messages i think.

What do you think the problem is?
 
random reboots? heat issue most likely. have you ever opened up your machine and using canned air blown all of the dust off the fans inside?
 
I've had this problem, and it ended up being because of heat. Apperintly, my fan wasn't working ( :rolleyes: ) and loads of dust. Also i had settings for a game higher than my card could handle. That was a while ago. Check out the heat and what not, and probaly (not an expert, but) probaly check for viruses and all that stuff too.

Not High loads but most of the reboots seemed to have happened
on the net and sometimes offline.

Because I unticked the automatic restart thing it gos to
bluescreen instead of random reboot.
 
I use a Armor JR Case and its better ventilated than cheapish
cases and is it possible that the problem could be because of program conflicts and programs competing for system resources?

programs usually don't cause the OS to have a fatal error. Most likely it would be a bad driver if not overheating. Still you might want to double check all the hardware, sometimes a physical change happens (ie fan giving up the ghost or a capacitor leaking) that will cause annoying problems in a system.

ventilation isn't worth crap if the cpu , gpu, mobo, and psu fans are covered in dust. you can have air moving through that case at 100mph and if the critical fans are covered in dust the system will do exactly what you are looking at.

*update* let me add further if you let that dust buld up enough it will lead to system damage that vibro talked about. Vibro is also correct you could have an independent hardware failure. Check the fans inside make sure they are clean. Then visually look at your hardware. If you still have problems then backup and reformat. if that solves it then you had a crappy driver or something.

About my Bluescreen problem i've plugged my front Led case
fan in a way that it will indicate to me whether its the power
supply or molex plug lead plugged into the power supply or not.

If I get a Bluescreen and the front Led case fan does'nt turn
off then the hard drive bottom part could be a bit too warmish
or it could be software related.
