After a year of patiently waiting for God to allow us to get one, we finally found one at Target tonight they had just gotten them in this afternoon. My wife told me about a year ago to just pray and wait patiently and see if God would make a way for me to find one without trying to run all over the place and He did. :) We love it!! I Love the boxing, and we are going to have a bowling turni tonight LOL hehe

By the way I got Mario Galaxy too. :) Can't wait to try it!

Are there any other games that would be suggested as a must have:
I am planning on picking up Metroid in a week or so, and also doing some Wii Channel downloading, but specifically for the Wii there are so many that look fun. We like it for the family entertainment aspect so my wife and I can relax yet have some fun together at the same time. :) hehe

WOOT! Congrats!

My suggestion is Rayman's Raving Rabbids, both 1 & 2. It's hilariously fun, and there are 2-player options so that you and your wife can play with/against each other. :)

YAY LOGOS! Wii's are fun! THis Christmas we got a ton of games. I really like Mario Galaxy. Its like Mario 64 all over again.... ahh good times..

and if i ever decide to give out (and find) my Wii code.. and find the purpose for it... i'd give it out ;D Have fun with ur Wii Logos, its a blast!

I am just excited that God has blessed us with the opportunity to have one..I know that may sound strange but I really do feel that God gives us things and allows to have "games" to enjoy for fun. :)

STC95 - Yeah Mario Galaxy is awesome its 3-D on a whole new lvl
 
wii Sports and Mario are the two best games for the wii right now, I still don't know how you can ever get bored of wii sports but hey. If you're into the zelda thing the zelda game was fun, and I hear the new one is going to be sweet. grats BTW!

Twilight Princess is fun. Kinda wierd.. i think i like the other Zelda games better, but its still really cool to actually "swing" your sword!

I recommend Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. Before you shell out $50 for it, though, you should know that it only takes 20-25 hours to complete. That being said, MP3 features the best controls for a console first-person shooter ever.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoy Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles, though we understand that not all couples count shooting zombies as quality time together.

Rayman Raving Rabbids is probably the best party game so far; I haven't played RRR2 yet, but I plan to rent it eventually.

I'd recommend steering clear of Wario Ware: Smooth Moves. It looks like it would make a great party game, but, in reality, the multiplayer options are weak and further crippled by forcing players to pass a single Wii remote.

Zelda: Twilight Princess was a fantastic single-player experience. I've only played through Twilight Princess and Phantom Hourglass, so I can't compare TP to earlier games. I plan on shelling out the 10 bucks and downloading Ocarina of Time after finishing Super Mario Galaxy, Hotel Dusk Room 215, Trace Memory, and a few other games first.

My wife and I are setting money aside for Mario Kart Wii and Wii Fit when they're released this spring.
