Who is purchasing Torchlight 2?

Given the complexity of such a modification, I have my doubts, but I wouldn't rule it out. Modders tend to be very determined people.

But even if there is a mod for the game, there's always a chance an official update will break the mod and the mod team will stop updating the mod. If gamepad support isn't official, then there's no guarantee it'll "stick."

I was randomly googling and found this. You may have mentioned it before but if not there it is. It's 10 bucks though and may not even work. Older versions of it are supposed to be free.

Posted the following in the other Torchlight II thread:

Xpadder is indeed an awesome program, but doesn't really work with dungeon crawlers without WASD movement because there's nothing to "translate"--the standard controls require you to left-click the point on the map where you want your character to travel.
