As most of you know I am currently between ministries. I resigned at the end of the year and have been looking at different possibilities.

I thought I would give you guys a chance to voice in on where I should be looking....

I have listed some places I have contacted.

Um, because I'm from here and the Christian Rock scene is awesome around here AND you can help me with my "LAN parties for the Lord" ministry idea :)

But seriously you need to go where the Lords leads you!

Don't live in AZ. I've been there and done that and all it is, is mind-bogglingly hot. If you're outside for more than 15 minutes you end up feeling like a rack of slow-smoked ribs, minus the positive aspect of being slathered in BBQ sauce.

The east coast is TECHNICALLY where I live, Atlanta isnt a very happenin' place, but the East coast is where its at! :D

...do I want to know lol?

You'd know if you played WoW :p

Come to Detroit friend! Sure the job market's not that hot, the roads stink, the weather's decided to do who knows what since we seem to be losing winter, and we're awefully close to those Canadians which I'm sure are all deterents unless you really like Canadians.:) None the less God is seriously moving with this church plant I'm a part of. He just gave us an awesome building, pretty sure he's brought us this amazing worship guy, awesome stuff's going on it's great. Tonight was our first night in our new building and we had over 100 people there tonight up from 30-40 on a normal night. Maybe it doesn't come through in words that well but trust me, you can't spend the night with us and not see God moving.:D

That and I live here which is almost as good a reason.;)

And Odale my friend you live in the south.

Booty Bay.

ARIZONA!!!! FTW...seriously i used to live there for 8 years and i would trade any state and country to live there again. You guys may think its all desert...haha its not.

4th safest city per capita

^^That's only one reason why I voted for Austin, and not really the biggest one. I live about 80 miles NE of Dallas, and I think Dallas is a great town, but every time I've been to Austin I ALWAYS find myself thinking, "Man this would be a great town to live in." The place is kept clean, and moreover is "groomed" to be beautiful. It is the capital of Texas, and they take that representation very seriously.

If you like music....Austin FTW. There are free concerts down there all the time. EVERY type of music.

There is an abundance of "things" to do within an hours drive.

I wish I could tell you about the spiritual side of the town but I would know not whereof I speak, so I will leave that to your study. I CAN tell you this however: Texans are churchgoers by and large.

The cost of living in this area is not too bad either....especially compared to Denver:eek:

In the end....the Holy Spirit will lead you where the Lord wants you through prayer.

I wish you the best:)
God Bless

Arizona isn't all desert, but I still never liked the majority of the climates there. The only thing I actually DID enjoy was the camping. The mountains up there are really nice, even in summer.

Then again, I'm kind of a mountain-loving person by nature.

Who said Canada? I don't have anything against Canada, mind you, but the land of the free and home of the brave seems to appeal to me

What about foot-hills? We have more than we know what to do with. If you like hiking theres always The Appalachian Trail. And many more stuffs. <runs off to work>

Goblit and I are in need of a good minister in our city. That is why you need to move to Calgary. Besides, Calgary is where its at!!!

I agree with Odale, Cavalry is not where its at. Calgary is Gods favorite city, he has blessed us with the Rocky Mountains less then an hours drive a way, the clearest of rivers and lakes. Well, if you aren't going to move here, at least come on by for a visit to see what you will be turning down
