I have no idea what all that means as I havent ever ran anything that automated world of warcraft, I never even used decursive back in the day:(

All I was running was fubar and some addons for that(guildfu, friendsfu, durabilityfu, etc), ora2, bigwigs, threat meter, damage meter, unit frames and trinity bars, cartographer and auctioneer
 
clique and grid but I never used them on my acct, just when playing Lara's character but her acct is fine
 
Keep replying and writing emails, you will get a hold of a person eventually via email and they will do research on the account. Hang in there and you will get him back
 
OUCH! With my addiction that would be an absolute horror, I really feel for you. I am sure that in time you can get it all straightened out. Hope it is resolved quickly for you.
 
Still waiting on a reply:( Im definately missing the game already lol, but also just sick at the thought of losing my chars that I had to log out of Beth's acct:(

What does this mean? I have never ran anything that automated my WoW.
All my addons tweak the look of my UI and monotior threat meters, etc for
raiding? What exactly was I "found" to be doing that was automated??

personally reviewed the account in question, and have determined that the
previous Account Administrator to review this matter was correct when they
stated the actions taken on the account in question were justified.
Unfortunately, therefore, they will not be reversed under any circumstances.

So I replied again asking what exactly is being said that I did and see if they answer me or just tell me no again:( Not looking good
 
I would continue to be assertive with your claim and keep asking what it was that they allegedly found you doing. It could very well have been a virus on your system that gave them a false positive or that you were fishing and didn't bother to say hi to somebody, so they reported you as a fishing bot. I've read of this happening.
 
Yeah I was kinda wondering about that, I heard in general chat in arathi one day about someone reporting a guy for mining a particular ore over and over and the only thing I can think of is one day I ran in circles in alterac on my hunter mining for 3 hours straight trying to get his mining high enough for thorium and I kept passing the same guys over and over. I havent heard back, the letter above they said basically only write back if you have another matter to speak of so I dont know:(
 
I'd approach it from:

You agree that these are serious matters and that you are serious about them.
To your knowledge you have not broken the ToS and would like the opportunity to clear your name.
You would like to know what evidence they have that is condemning you and how they know it is not a false postive.

Maybe you will have to ask to set up a time to speak to a customer service rep.
 
If it were me that this happened to, I would be on the phone. They can't be doing much cookie cutter responces if you call them and more can get done. I think you should tell them you deserve a valid reason to why they shut it down and not some general responce that they did it. I am not sure how many accounts they shut down because of this but I would think they don't get very many that will then call and see if they can resolve it seeing as it is then that much more money back in Blizzards pocket. It all depends on how much they want to resolve the issue. If you can't get anywhere with them I guess there is always CUBE
 
You cant call them, I tried many times calling, for my banned account. Every time they said that email was the only way to deal with a banned acct. After about 3 weeks and 6 emails to the general address I finally got a response from an actual person with a return mail address. Then I was able to deal with him for about 3 emails in a row.
 
I don't know if it would help but we could have the 100+ accounts in the Guild step up and attest to the validity of Where's account. That over the year or so we have never seen such "automations" on his account. I gotta believe that Blizzard can look into the history of his account and see no repeated actions or loots. I am all for eliminating illegal accounts, but come on Bllizzard make sure there illegal!!!!
