What musical instruments do you play?

I have an electric Fender Squier Strat. I bought the starter kit for a couple hundred dollars. So far the only problem I'm having is the sound quality, which I think is related to cheap strings. Pickups & humbuckers all sound pretty good, but I haven't messed with effects yet.

Been taking lessons since early summer - I've gotten a lot better, but I'm still rather dismal. I hide in the basement to play.

Hee hee, that's where I go to play bass...

$2,000 for a guitar huh? thats crazy.

Not really...

do re mi fa sol la te Sqweak!

Classical Guitar, but, I am completely out of practice (not that I was ever any good).
I had violin in band for a year and was fairly skilled I believe, but, I was unable to continue due to issues completely beyond my control.
Bought a midi keyboard which I've hardly touched... here is a tip buy a weighted keyboard they feel sooo much better than the spring loaded.

Three glorious failures, but, the Gerbil will keep trying T_T.

Question does anyone here sing? I've pondered the idea that since so many people here are musically inclined maybe you could form an internet band. One person would record their instrument's part, post it, then another person would play their part listening to it and so forth. Of course each person would need headphones and a microphone, but, it's just a idea.

Most everyone can sing. In fact, we're ordered to make a joyful noise unto the Lord. But being able to sing does not translate automatically to being able to sing good. :p

...Smarty pants :p . I'll phrase it this way is there anyone here who would consider their instrument to be their voice? (and no I don't mean instrument of death! :p)

Dorkelf plays piano (Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance) and clarinet (since elementary school, and in our church orchestra), and is teaching himself the Appalachian (lap) dulcimer. He also plays zils WAY better than I do...but he can't dance while playing! (He does NOT dance. Period.) His secondary instrument in college was voice; he thinks he has only a little better than average voice...

I sing in the church choir. I'm not a incredible vocalist or anything, but I am better than average.
