What makes Christianity beleivable?

No but he did have to take only two of each. What is the infant mortality rate on Mayflies do you think? Come to that - how would the two lions live on only two antelope?

Ah right - well there you see, we have to shrug and say that what you're saying can't be proven or disproven, but that none of the REST of the evidence matches up with the text.

First, ( I assume you're talking about the Ark, I haven't read the whole topic. ) much of the Ark was supplied with food. Plus, the flies would have laid eggs.

I don't think there is enough information given to argue details. We don't know how everything worked. It's only speculation as to what was brought on the ark, and what wasn't brought other than what the Bible says. Its only speculation to say what died and what lived. I don't even think we can be sure that every animal taken on the ark lived through the flood. Like eon I don't think it makes sense to argue the feasibility of the whole situation, and then when something doesn't seem feasible, to say "well, God must have taken care of that". Don't get me wrong, I do believe God did take care of everything, but I don't think you can have a logical discussion about an event, and then fill in the parts that don't make sense with faith. I accept the whole event happened, with faith. Sure, I believe a big boat holding 2 of every animal is possible without divine intervention, but that doesn't matter if one aspect of the story is not possible without divine intervention. The part where the whole earth was flooded is not possible without divine intervention, so  I accept the whole story with faith. Just for the records, there are many stories of a worldwide flood from diverse civilizations, not just christianity.
