What I've learned after 3 hours of farming today:

1. I hate farming
2. If you have to farm, take a treasure hunting pot
3. I hate farming
4. Farming sucks

In the 3 hours I farmed enough volatiles to make 5 truegold bars...admittedly I got about 15-20 greens to d/e and about 150g not to mention various other volatiles (from the treasure hunting pots) and enough embersilk for 20 bolts (again from the pots). I may have made enough gold levelling Dranoe to cover the mats costs...then again..volatiles cost a ton ;(...anyway..I am 3 truegold and 30 waters away from the elementium hammer for wend

I find it easier to farm volatile life (ie herbs) and x-mute them into water, air fire etc... the only downside is waiting for the x-mute CD

I seem to get enough Volatile Water just from my fishing...lol

I do know they fish up in Twilight Highlands - that's where I get buff food but you need to fish for quite a long time to get Volatile Water...you'll probably prefer farming them over fishing endlessly; hence why you aren't reading anything about it. Not an efficient way at all.
