...and now for the latest in forum fluff WHAT IS YOUR DREAM RING TONE! Post your actual and dream ring tone for the amusement of others! I have no cell phone so I am exempt (and me brain cells are safe too! :p). I do think a certain section of the Voltron theme song (you know the one din, da, da, da, DA, DA, DA) would be perfect for one though :).

On an associated note to bad no one ever came through with a start trek communicator cell phone. It seems so easy but the only official attempt I found online never got released.

My dream ring tone will kill others when their phone rings annoyingly and they answer it loudly like nobody is around them during movies, meetings or school (while the teacher is lecturing).

In other news, I prefer my phone on silent.

I've always wanted a warning alarm as my ring tone.

Something like the warning alarms from Aliens Vs Predator. (0:32 till the end of it)
 
i don't care much for different types of ringtones.

now if i had the money to buy ringtones i would just buy some classic songs...

yet one of the most important features is that i can hear it. haha.
 
My friend had a great ringtone awhile back. It went something like this.

*ring ring*

Guy 1: "The phone is ringing. Pick it up."

Guy 2: "No, you pick it up!"

*ring ring*

Guy 1: "No you pick it up!"

Guy 2: "I don't want to pick it up."

*ring ring*

And it keeps going back and forth...
 
Ringtones are from the devil... :D

I use silent or vibrate mostly as i am at work ... and noone ever calls me.
 
I've got HellMarch (rollseyes at the name) from C&C: RA as my ringtone.

What I really want would be the "Recieving Incoming Transmission" message from Starcraft.
 
We recorded a few for my friends cell phone a while back. He put on the Zelda and Mario themes and he has Leroy Jenkins which always gets him some funny looks.

I think at the moment i have When Everything Falls by Haste the Day.. (when its not on silent) and worms "incoming" as txt message.

Funny ringtone story..
My friend works with handicapped teens and for one reason or another had to go to the police station. Unfotunately my friends colleague did not turn his phone to silent. The ringtone was a sound byte from the film Dusk Till Dawn, the portion where the bar owner is welcoming people into the bar, or inviting, telling of the "advantages" of this bar.. For those that know the film, i need say no more.. for those that havent,... better you dont know..lol.

Needless to say, my friend did pee.

On a related note, when Elihu calls me, my phone plays Play That Funky Music by Wild Cherry.
