What is it?

Charr spirit not Grawl I believe. But whadda I know? I'm a bear of little brain (name the reference).

Nope - not Charr - too upright and not enough hair or horns.

Maybe not Grawl - but I can't think of anything else.

Yea, it's definitely not a Charr. Sorry Ursen :)

As for what it is, I don't think it's naturally occurring, meaning it's a skill. Since it has a similar appearance to the two other guys next to it, I'm assuming a spirit. Note that it doesn't have the identical form to either one of the guys, look at the nose and the mouth. From the lightning around it, it could be elementalist based, but then again Rits in GW1 use lighting damage as well. However, there is no confirmed spirit-summoning profession, so it's hard to say.

As for the animation-creation. I noticed that as well Elhanan. I don't think it's warrior-based, far to small to be a warrior, and what warrior crouches as it runs? They are supposed to be big and lumbering. If it was GW1 it'd easily be a sin, despite the katana props, which I think aren't necessarily tied together with the profession. They probably just have those as placeholder martial weapons to play around with (remember, they are all just big kids ;)). So the fact that they are katana-esque doesn't mean assassin. It just means we're gonna see a dual-wielding martial profession soon ;)

my first thought was an updated version of the Simians around the Asuran areas. They have powerful Rits too.
