I know that i am not the only one that is tired of seeing people leave for guilds that do more raiding than we do, and i am tired of all the drama that it causes. So here is yet another poll of what activities that we MUST do as a guild that keep us together as a guild. I know the people in Redeemed are from various walks of life, and our schedules dont exactly match up. This poll is going to attempt to find a time during the week that we as a guild can raid. I can only do up to 10 options for a poll so please state the time than you can participate.

And by raiding i do not mean Sm or Zf, I mean Scholo, Strath, Lbrs, Ubrs and the like. There is absolutely no reason why this guild cannot raid these places. I am having problems finding people to group with in the guild. Making a quality guild does'nt happen over night, and certainly not by people leaving like they have been either.

Edit!

I would also only like for the people who are 50+ to vote. They are the ones that are going to actually go on these raids. Simply put, if you arent high enough in level, do not vote.

No matter what happens with the raiding situation, lets just all remember this. Redeemed was made as a fellowship guild, praise and worship are our lifetime Quests. Raiding would be awesome fun as a guild, but if it comes to where we can't do that, lets come up with our own Christian raids through-out Azeroth. Spreading the Lord's word in the game can lead to changes people would make in their real life, I definetly saw that at work in my old Illidain guild. Many of you have noticed me running MC with ONE a lot, I would gladly give that up to go with everyone to praise and worship in /s sumwhere, or just go out to help lower lvl's run VC, or Gnomer sum nights. Anyways, that's just my 2 cents that I thought I might add.

Soon there will be no redeemed as everybody leaves to go with raiding guilds.

I've tried with the schedule, nobody was interested.

The is a serious lack of interest in the new Zul Gurub.

We can't even get enough people to run 5 or 10 man runs to scholo or stratholme.

Its nice to help low levels with VC with an alt appropriatly leveled. But I've done that instance a hundred times and I would like to do instances my level. A lvl 25 isn't going to run Strath SM with me until they are lvl 55+. And if people at level 25 don't see people in their guild who are over lvl 55 running the high end stuff, they aren't going to stick around to not do it.

I'm sorry for being harsh, the truth isn't always velvety smooth. When I play monopoly, I may chat with my friends, peers and family, in the end, I am still playing monopoly, I don't put it on hold.

I would like to play wow, I would like to see high level characters actualy sticking to a time to run a raid. There are days it feels as though I am the only one in that boat. Case in point, Wednesday, only 6 people on for a 20 man raid. Friday before that 5.

The main problem we cant fix and its that overall the game sucks.

heres what i think.

1 because there is no end to the game via pve. you just keep getting better and better gear after more hours and stress of instances. hence the reason poeple leave the guild to go join other guilds who will increase their chance to get gear which will net them 1 more hp. and these end game instances arent 1-2 hours. they easily consume the entire evening of playing. you might as well be playing a different game while your in there and chatting over AOL. becasue you bascially arent playing the same game the rest of us are.

2 becasue the only thing cool about online video games is pvp. and there is no real pvp in this game. there is of course the gank fest which is roaming around looking for people pveing and killing them or being the victim of that. and then there is the horrible places called alterac valley and warsong gulch. you have to wait in line to do the 1 thing 90% of the people bought the game originally came to do. and even then you end up waiting not 15-20 min (which would be too long) you wait hours. hope you dont have a real life, because if you cant make the hours and commitment for a MC run forget about the battlegrounds. you can run MC 2-3 times before getting in the bgs. you should have to wait the 1 min max it takes for you to load your char so that he/she can fulfill his/her commitment to the front.

3 because i know all this and i still pay them and play the game. i think they have tapped into my drinking water or are sending subliminal messages through my computer.

so unless you can fix these problems the guild will suffer as well from them

i seriously doubt i will renew after this month i have been back. plus due to RL situations (posts to follow(hopefully in a timly manner)) i was considering not continuing despite the games flaws.

Well, Camma. I know that IRL > WoW. I hope to see you in another game in the future. Mabye Blizzard will just copy Daoc's pvp like i want them to lol.

My problem is me. With family wanting my attention and the crazy work schedule, I'm not on as often. And getting discouraged with first my druid, then my priest, I'm still not high enough to be of any help. So I'm sorry I haven't been leveling up enough to be of much help. But I'll work on it when I can. I know the hunter pretty well (at least in lower levles), so I'll do what I can to level him up.

Right now my priority list pretty much looks like this:

Church
Family
Writing music
School
Friends
UT2004
World of Warcraft

So basically WoW is the game that I get on when I just want to play for a few minutes or maybe just relax and not do anything intense or serious. Also I'm only a 26.

Personally I agree with Pro. I dont believe Redeemed was meant to be a competitor with the higher raiding or "uber" guilds. We are a guild that has formed together because we all have 1 very important thing in common. Our faith. Personally I could care less if i ever get the "best instance armor" for my character. No matter how good it is blizzard will always be pumping better in some other instance. So instance runs and drops are a sidenote to me. What I come to play for is the friendships I have formed. Being a busy mom of 3 and having a husband who works 60 hours a week I really dont have a lot of time or opportunity to get out and spend time just having fun with like minded individuals. The fellowship I get in this guild fills that void for me.

I can understand everyones frustration with people leaving. But for some our guild is just a gas station along their adventures in warcraft. They come get their engines filled and then rev off for the next race. but the neat thing about a guild such as ours is they will always remember where they started and they will often come back when their tank runs out. They also never forget to wave as they drive by and you know they often open the door to some great alliances thus building up our guild in indirect ways. Building and maintaning a christian guild is NOT easy. It takes a lot of perserverance, patience, and trust in the Lord.

The main thing we need to do as a guild is keep our sights on what we are really here for. Yes the glam and glitter of having the best and being the best is very tempting but we mustn't lose focus on the real riches we have as a guild.

Every once in a while, friends go out and do stuff together. Go to a movie, go to the park or go camping. We are stuck talking on the phone.

Not always. Jaz led a raid the other day and I hear it went pretty well. Just last night, Aves came over and spent a little quality time with me. And sometimes like leveled people get together for a fun adventure (like the night I tried to join but kept drawing aggro.) hehe

We have enough people for small adventures and instances and fun. And we could certainly use some more fun gatherings like we did in Camelot. But we certainly don't have the manpower or the free time to do some of these major high level instances, and I think that's what some of our guildees are dying to do.

A friend at work was talking about how tough Ragnos was and how after a full month of effort, reorganizing, and retries, they finally brought down Ragnos. And when I saw the video he showed, the room was full of elves and dwarves and humans all lined up like a small army. Even if our entire guild got together to attempt something like Ragnos, I don't think we'd have the manpower nor the organization to yet deal with such a boss, and would need alliance or ally help.

So from what I've read from this thread so far, this is what I'm hearing: People want to take on the higher level dungeons, but we don't have enough people with enough time and levels to take them on. And a lot of guildees are more into the fellowship and fun atmosphere (when not getting ganked by horde. hehe) than spending 10 hours focusing on fighting through a tough dungeon / instance.

But I'm just a lowly 32. So I don't know much. hehe

I love you guys, You are the guild and the people I have missed snice the move from DAOC. Please do not lose focus of that. We are 1st a Guild under Christ, everything after that is just cake. we can be and do anything we set our minds too, I believe we should 1st and foremost be a followship of believers and then

We are war harden, PvE'er and PvP'er for the realm of stonemaul to fear and tremble in our very presense,, unless of course were there to protect you , *wink*

Seriously, we here too help and love on each other, least thats what I believe
