Woo Hoo I get New Years Eve! I so want to lift out my whole message from Sunday, but I will refrain from beating ya over the head with a wall O'text. Let's just say all those usual resolutions we want to make are ok, but don't get at the heart of the matter. Try resolving to value your Christmas gift more, Christ the Messiah. How would I do that you ask? One resolve to read at least a little Scripture every day, two resolve to learn to immerse yourself in prayer.

16 Rejoice always, 17 pray without ceasing, 18 in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

The change in your life will surprise you if you just do these two complimentary things. Yes it will take time to learn these two, but are of greater value than you can dream. Let me go for a three fer and give you a little encouragement for the New Year and resolving to do this.
