Wearing toj tags

This is just a note to remind people that the ToJ tag is not a plaything... There are a few scenarios you should be aware of..

1. If you are wearing a ToJ tag and you break server rules in any way you are at risk of suffering an immediate ban. If there are reports filed against you by other members and are deemed to be valid you will be on a "ban on sight" status.
2. If you are warned first (as usually happens at least once) then your records /will/ be checked against the ToJ roster. If your conduct continues then you will be expelled from toj as well as the server.
3. If no records are found then you will be insta-banned as you will be deemed as impersonating a toj member.

We are Christians, we value the letters [toj.cc] they stand for Christ in our server. We are not afraid to maintain the purity of those letters. So just to recap... If i were you i wouldnt try breaking any of the rules on the toj server (though why you would want to i dunno).. and always always use your proper username with the tag or you are responsible for getting yourself banned.

(That's all I'm hearing in ads on radio and TV since it's voting season....)

On a serious note, please adhere to these standards as we've just had too many imposters posing as even myself, or other hi-ranking officials within the ToJ community.
 
Just to note.. we all lose our cool and we all make mistakes... If you should ever find yourself in a situation like this.. the admins arent monsters, they are just following procedure.. We are always willing to forgive someone who is genuinely sorry and tries hard to turn their ways.
 
And to add - if you see someone posing as one of "us" then get their Steam ID immediately and email an admin. You can tell if someone is an imposter if they are blatantly rude and cursing and stirring up trouble. Us real admins are always trying to be a good example for you guys (but we fail sometimes).

My proof? When I play CS, people have different names, as soon as they have like 30-5, then they change to their toj tags, how nice is that.
Or someone would accuse someone of hacking, which no one knows that person is a toj, the message would appear, "Do not accuse someone of hacking", then that person with an POWNED score changes to name with toj tag, then immediately apologies and hopes to not get kicked/banned.


Plus, I would hate if admins had no tags and ban someone w/o using a toj tag!

We know its been happening for years...Thats why we incorporated the zero tolerance policy... From now on the roster will be inspected regularly and if you are not on it you will be banned when seen with a toj tag.. same for any rule breaking under our tag.
 
And how do you admins become 'freaky' admins?

Toj Cs server, slots full, 20 players out of 20, no admins in sight, a messages appears above, "Hope everyone is (something...something...)...", then one of the lesser players gets dropped and replaced with an admin instead...

There are few sneaky ones with hacks or cracks that'll give them admin access in few servers. I remeber back in 1.5 days someone was impersonating exodus.. He said his grandmother died and starting cussing and... wow it was scary, I first thought it was exo really really mad but I realised the gentle leet exo wasn't this angry nub (neg score.. lol)
 
yes. hes posted a couple times in the admin forum, as well has actually gotten to play CS a bit these past few weeks.


Since exo is a youth pastor, he's really busy during the summer months..
