It's available now! It includes an amazing amt of in-box items as well as in-game items. The box is like 7-8 pounds!!! Beta keys as well as jump start on retail.

I bought 2 and thinking about a 3rd as an investment since there are only 60k avail and well over half a million ppl are signed up for beta.
 
While I don't plan to return to MMO gaming, I admit the collector's edition looks rather snazzy.

Not to de-rail the thread, but: Is there an estimated date for the open beta yet? I'd like to check it out, if only to see what Mythic is doing with the experience they gained in developing and updating Dark Age of Camelot.
 
The servers are not even up right now. They went down last week as the end of a beta section closed and they have not started the new one yet. In addition, they have not announced when it moves from Closed Beta to Open, we are waiting on an email with the details.

The other beta key can be yours for the small price of $160 ;-)
 
What is Open Beta?: Unlike many traditional "Open Betas" WAR will only be available to a limited number of players (Including Collectors Edition Pre-Orders). Open simply means that the NDA will be lifted allowing testers to freely share their experience with the public.
 
My guess is this will occur September-ish.

Release date is currently set for October 15th 2008.

It seems to be a very achievable goal barring any really unforeseen issues.
