Yes, yes I did.
Apparently the whole world is invited to vote on a new "Seven Wonders of the World" list. Looking over the list you'll notice buildings that were completed before the time of Christ (Acropolis) contend with buildings built as late as the 20th Century (Sydney Opera House).
Personally, I think this is foolishness. I don't think enough time has passed to determine where the Statue of Liberty, Eiffel Tower, Kremlin, and Sydney Opera House stand in the annals of history. Plus, it's not like the technology employed in constructing the Sydney Opera House was available to those who constructed the Pyramids.
