Video Editor

Anyone got a heads up and a decent free video editing software?

I'm looking for something that I can use to add text boxes....kinda like instructional videos do.

Movie Maker 2...LOL...

I used to work for Indiana Films, and I have Adobe Premiere Pro 1.5, which is $799, but I got it for free...if you know anyone who has it, pick it up, it ROCKS!

I've used Pinnacle Studio for years and really like it. It's a lot better than Windows Movie Maker, and is only about sixty bucks. I also use Avid, but it's a $500 program. I would highly suggest Pinnacle Studio, or if you want to lay down the money I'd say Adobe or Avid.

Movie Maker is a joke...lol... Especially after picking up Adobe Premiere, but Avid is good, I don't think it is better than Adobe Premiere, but still very good...

I would recommend some, but they only run under linux or mac :\

iMovie is okay, if you had a Mac I would suggest Final Cut Pro, the master of all video editors...

I did have a copy of Final Cut Pro at one point in time. It would be a few years old.....but alas, I do not have a mac.
