I've been a guild leader in several games and I am considering taking on the responsibility once again when Vanguard releases or when I get an invitation to beta, whichever comes first. I have no plans on creating a "Christian only" guild because I guess I like to hope in the back of my mind that when non-christians play and have a real life problem I can be there to offer support and hopefully plant a seed... though as often as not I feel like I just mess things up (thank our Father the spirit is at work even when I feel like I've messed things up)
Anyway, like I said I'm not really interested in starting a "Christian only" type guild, but I need someone to talk to... Sometimes I feel so discouraged, because (as you guys have probably experienced yourselves) I just don't fit in with the general populace. I have lots of friends that I love sincerely and that love me just the same... but we disagree on such an important point and I can't just let it go when it's such extremely high stakes. Therefore, many times we end up in a debate about "Why I believe in a personal God?" or "What makes me think that my 'belief' is the correct one?" and usually feel like my arguments just bounce because so few people even believe that "Objective truth" even exists anymore.
I'm just curious if anyone else out there faces this kind of stuff? And if I'm even welcome to talk about this here, with you guys?
If anyone else is interested in hanging out in Vanguard sometime also please let me know, but mostly I am just looking for people who share the Faith and are willing to share their experiences or talk about it or whatever.
