Hi all. I was wondering if there are any other members playing Vanguard yet? I have so far but unsuccessful in finding a Christian based guild but I figured I would see if there are any other players at least. I am currently playing on the RP server Florendyl but being only level 10 I would be will to move servers if I found a group already playing.

And is Vanguard open or closed beta now? I had watched a trailer for the game and was interested, but I admit I've paid more attention to Wii news than PC game news since December.

Vanguard is was released Jan. 30th although it is still very much a beta. They ran out of money and had to release. The game itself is very stable and I haven't heard of any game breaking bugs so far but they still have a ton of stuff to get in but the basic game is there and running pretty good.
Diplomacy is a huge hit with players and the crafting system is very involved. The housing system is similar to SWG but I believe the lots are predifined, you just have to buy the lot and buy the house you want built. Houses and boats are player made and I know the devs are working on getting Guild Halls in ASAP and they have said they are going to be similar to SWGs Guild Halls.
The main site is www.vanguardsoh.com but they don't run their own message board anymore. SilkyVenom is one of the better sites and the devs frequent their boards quite often. Alot of the information is just starting to be compiled and added to sites but all the usual suspects have something (ie Vault Network and TenTonHammer.)

Main character is Jadon Silentstrike on Florendyl (RP) server. Currently on the Thestra continent. Only level 15, real life has kept me from playing much this past week.
I would be willing to start over on another server if it means being able to play in a Christian based guild. Those same real life obsticals have shown me that I want to be surrounded by believers even while playing video games.
