Yeesh, and I was thinking about upgrading my video card this Christmas. Maybe I better hold off.

If you have Vista you shouldn't have a problem. I'm not sure if all XP systems are having this problem, more info on Nvidia's forums if interested.

Incidentally, I found that turning world detail all the way down to "1" was best for visibility. It gets rid of that oh-so-cool but oh-so-useless "atmosphere" blurring effect, and the colours "pop" a little more on the screen.

I found the same thing. I got latest driver installed and followed some tweaks in Epics forums and now i'm getting good playable framerates between 45-85fps @ 1024x768.
