Howdy all. Just wanted to know: what is your username, and where did you get the name from? My name, as some of you may have noticed, is Sir_Ryan, named after my first name and my love of the medieval ages.

Please give a short description of your username!

I'm known as Flash, but my actual nick name i use on-line is FlashoN

I got this idea when i was playing CS, heard someone say flash on the hole (while throwin a flashbang grenade) and I decided to use that as an Add-on to my previous nick name, Flash. No one impersonates me.. and I think it looks cool.. as how i always carry at least 1 flashbang in my inventory..

I hope Tek joins on this thread.. I'd lov to know how he picked such a cool and 1337 lookin name

i took my name because of Jesus..... its a great topic starter and gets peoples attention alot.
 
Actually, I think Tek explained his name already a while back? I know the story behind it just because I'm a computer geek *confession*. It's sorta..Uh..Drawn out, and I really don't want to explain >_<

My name on the other hand, is a direct result of a story I was working on about 5 years ago. I still occasionally return to that story and try to add stuff to it...But I think I'm about to wrap it up. GG five years of typing.

My nic\handle was really meant to embody the answer of "yes" to both questions. And it also, like LionofJudah, causes discussion where ever I go.
 
I chose mine because of my site so people can recognize me a little easier if they cme to this forum through ccgr.
 
My name is Mrpopdrinker and I am a coke addict. (Group) Hi Mrpopdrinker! (me) I was having dinner at my brother in laws house after we got back from blasters. We were having some very hot chili so I was drinking more pop then usual. He looked and called me Mrpopdrinker and so one night when I was playing wolfet my name was born.

Oh, wow. The "where did Tek get his nickname" question. *G*

It looks like that thread was deleted in the Forum Purge of '03 (earlier this year). That was a lot of thinking and typing, too. >_<

I'll have to think back and take some time to write out the post one of these days. It's a long and involved explanation, and I'm usually overly verbose as it is. ^_^;;

My most common online name is FriarTuck.  But when I joined the game Dark Ages of Camelot, FriarTuck wasn't allowed.  So I created 2 main characters:
DonaPacem the Friar
Buterfingers the Wizard

Well, DonaPacem didn't work out so well, and he could never be successful, so my main became Buterfingers.  Well, that is obviously not a real name from the medieval period, so the devs changed my wizard's name to Malohaut.

Malohaut had a long and happy life in Camelot, and eventually became the guildmaster and spiritual leader of the Knights of the Trinity.  So when I joined the Forums, I just signed up with Malohaut instead of my usual FriarTuck.

Now I guess if you look at Malohaut, Mal is bad in Spanish and haut is strikes in German.  So I guess I strike badly?  *shrug*

I want to change my username to my current character's name: Chivah, which roughly translates in Klingon as 'lost warrior'  But oh well.

But I do have a plan! MWA HA HA HA HA HA HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA Let's just see if that plan works. I'll keep you posted.

Most of you can tell that my nick is Spanish for something, if not you'll see that my avatar is Speedy Gonzales himself. I took a load of spanish throughout high school and will be resuming next semester in college. I speak semi-fluent. It's really hard for me to understand native speech though, especially at full speed.
 
Thaddius...one of the disciples. I know its spelled differently but /shrug. Anyway, at the time I was in the Dark Age of Camelot beta, I was reading Jesus Freaks. His name stuck out to me so I have been using it since then.

My nick comes from my avatar - a furry bear look-alike that was on TV when I was waaaay younger ..... I never really liked it but I wanted something that I would be unlikely to have to change ... and it kinda gells with my personality ....

I can answer that for kidan, I believe what he told me was that Kidan was some kind of character in this cartoon of some sort... uh..

mpty - 4 almost semi-random letters...? my cousin was bored, so he made a starcraft account for me, and well... yeah... its stuck.
