My honeymoon was great, but I'm glad to be back! I'm hoping to drop in for a bit. It may not be for long or even possible at all, depending on when my parents get in for their last visit with us before they leave the country.
Regarding a potential time change: I often make it about half an hour late anyways. Some of my friends such as Turbo and Paco that join us occasionally are the same way. 7:30 is close to when we usually eat, so a move to 8 would be welcome by me.

I'm on Steam now, but don't see anyone on my Friends list playing UT3. I'll leave Steam running (at least until my notebook goes into suspend) and listen for invite messages, but I may go play a DS game with my wife if I don't see anyone load UT3 in the next few minutes.

i was going to hop in for a couple at 10pm est, but when i joined i had to download a few items in order to play.
we need to set the download map-files speed to a faster allowable download. a 503k file took almost 4 minutes or more to download then it popped up to download a 13000k file (estimated) and i knew that wasn't going to work so i just stopped and went to bed.

Sounds like the redirect wasn't working. Do you know the file names?
Glad to see you weren't one of the guys hurt in the mine explosion!
It might be time for us to take another look at setting up a file redirect account at GameServers.com (where all our current game servers are hsoted).
I've fixed the file redirect issue.
Our server configuration file pointed to a domain name which has since expired, but the file redirect server itself is still online. I changed the RedirectToURL= line in UTEngine.ini to a different URL that points to the same location. I then joined the server, vote-changed the map to a custom that I hadn't yet downloaded, and noticed a significant improvement in the download speed.
In short, the file redirect works again and the downloads are fast!

. I'm glad i wasn't either Capt'n. 
As coal miners we all share a common bond because of the dangers involved in mining coal. I am very blessed to be working for a company that truly puts safety first but then again it's the workers that have to make it safe. To know how to take care of the methane and do it.
Tek: The download in the UT server was awesome. It went so fast I almost couln't tell it downloaded anything. Now that's speed!!!!! woohoo

And to a lesser extent, I'm also glad to have that redirect fixed. Any time pubs joined I always started voting in stock maps for fear of losing them forever.
We had some really fun games on Monday. Someone named Lartuen (if i've spelled that correctly) joined us and completely mopped the floor with us. He's a really good player and a good sport as well. A player named Beef_Chow_Mein made his second appearance that I know of on the server. Last time I saw him, he said something along the lines of "This is one of those Christian servers? I won't play on these #$%^##$#$ servers!" and quit. This time around he complained of Lartuen being a cheater and quit. Nice guy

When I tested it, I downloaded a 30MB map and it went even faster than I was expecting. Now I don't have to hesitate to vote for custom maps!

A few pubs dropped by and I had some 1 on 1's. If there is a good time this week someone has to jump on for a little mid-week pick up, let me know! I miss competition!
I don't see anyone on my Steam Friends list playing UT3 right now, but I'm on Steam now and available to play. Message if you'd like and I'll hop on the ToJ UT3 server.
