Everyone please pray for Unchained. She is getting ready to have an appendectomy in an hour or two. She went into the hospital last night with a lot of pain in her abdomen and the Dr. decided to do the appendectomy this evening.

She's also not in a great mood since she hasn't been able to eat in over 24 hrs.

She is doing fine otherwise and hopefully this will be the end of the problems she has been having lately.

Also, Avesther, let Flash know that i won't be on tonight or probably tomorrow night.

Praying for you guys. Healsalot, don't worry about raids, you have a daughter to be beside and have ice cream ready for when she gets up.

Thank you for all your prayers. We just got the notification from the nurse that she is out of surgery and in recovery. Everything went well and she should be back up in the room in 30 min. or so.

It's great to know that there is a place we can go and know that people will be praying for us!

Thanks again! You would have all been proud of her. She was pretty much fearless about it. I was having a hard time not showing my nervousness until she got out of our sight. She had a great attitude about the whole thing.

they did the surgery laprascopically (sp?) so there should be no scar. She has 3 little places where they put the instruments in and they are all very small. No stitches just butterfly bandaids to close them. The nurses say there shouldn't even be scars when they heal.

She's still out of it pretty much for the night and the Dr. said it was a good thing she had it done now because her appendix ended up being inflamed which hadn't shown up on the scans and she was on the verge of full blown appendicitis. The only thing that had shown up on a scan was something in her appendix which could have been many different things and they thought it was some kind of stone. Won't know for sure what it was until lab results come back in a couple days.

Thanks for all the whispers when I logged on for a few minutes tonight. I'm so proud of my daughter. I've been through so many different operations i've lost count. It's no big deal to me anymore, but it's something entirely different when it's your 12 year old daughter they are taking to the operating room. She was much less nervous than I was. Several times before they took her down I just felt like saying no, it's not necessary and they aren't doing this. They really didn't know if what was showing up on the scans is what has been causing her pain. Ended up being that the problems weren't showing up on the scan and if she hadn't had this surgery when she did, it would have been a lot worse.

Just knowing that there were prayers out there for us from all of you, my friends here, and my church really helped a lot. Even though I was nervous, I knew things would be OK and that God would see us all through this just fine.

She has missed almost 3 weeks of school now and it will be 4 before she goes back on Friday. She will have a struggle getting caught up. She has always been a straight A student and I know it will be tough for her to keep that up this quarter. She will need a lot of prayers there also.

When she came out of surgery and was still half asleep I was telling her about people on here praying for her and gave her Goblit's message. She smiled and mumbled "Gobbie!" and passed back out :)

Aw Unchained :( Im glad she's doing better and I will still be praying for her. She sounds very brave lol. Surgery's scare me to death...I was all nerves jsut to get my wisdom teeth out >.<

Tell her I said hey and she is missed and cared for here in Redeemed. We all love her and are praying for her fast recovery!
