Tuesday Pvp Fishing Trip

Its maintenance day so....we expect lag. So why not go fishing?

Meet in the Barrens around 6 server. Bring a fishing pole. There will be people around to help you cook your catch. Meet on vent and say hi to people you may not have met yet.

Then we will head to the Crossroads to brandish our blades at the horde and do some PvP.

All levels of characters welcome. Train in the first level of fishing before you come (ask Goblit if you need help on that one). Summons available.
 
Make sure it is a pointy stick? You can bring a club , stick, blade, bow, gun.....weapon of choice to hurt the horde :-) I just like the way "brandishing a blade" sounded.

D'oh. I just spotted this thread. I guess the "New Posts" feature missed this one.

Even so, the Christian Gamers Alliance Bible study is tonight and I wanted to be sure to attend. I'll stop by after the study ends, though, and see if there are any fish left in the pools. :D

i dont want to be rude but i think going to a bbible study is better than goinging fishing here is a passage you might want to know
"So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God." 1 Corinthians 10:31, NIV yes we should do eveything for the glory of god
 
Fishing with guildies ROCKS! I see you chose not to fish...your choice. thanks to all 37 people that came....we had a blast. I hope all the CGA peeps had fun at their book learnin' as well.

What is the format for a "Christian Gamers Alliance Bible study" Is it held in a chatroom or IRC? Voice or text? I am curious, I didn't know they had a CGA biblestudy.
 
What is your problem with Redeemed fishing trip? Not like WE missed a bible study to go. The bible study was a CGA function of some sort not Redeemed.
 
um nothing i just have a lot of problesm of people saying "Miss fishing for a bible study? Bad choice" that ticks me off and i am only forgiving to a point
 
So are you saying that God only goes to bible studies and not to fishing fellowship activities in a video game? I'm pretty sure he was there too.

You are right, and I'm still looking for the passage that states, you must have a bible study for it to be for the Glory of God. 37 people in Redeemed got together and spent time fellowshiping in the game. Some people not in Redeemed joined in for awhile as well. Guess who was just as present there as at the bible study?

I think it was neat that with 10 minutes of planning somebody could put this together. I wonder what it would be like if more people volunteered 10 minutes of their time to lead events like this.

I don't think Goblit's initial post of "bad choice", was meant to demean the worth of a Bible study over the fishing activity. I took it as jest and nothing more. So lets not blow this out of proportion anymore that it has been.
