Romans 1:16-25
The Righteous Shall Live by Faith

16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. 17 For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith for faith, as it is written, “The righteous shall live by faith.”

Sadly I found myself even at church worried about how I act and talk as not to offend a non-Christian who might be visiting. When I take this too far I feel like I am ashamed of the gospel and somehow need to help it be less offensive. I need to remember its power and that has survived just fine from generation to generation on its own.
 
Feeling ashamed is part of the human condition. We all fight against the flesh of our nature, the shame we feel is the fear of our flesh. We have to move forward boldly. :)

We as Christians need to stop pussyfooting around. If it's wrong, we need to say so. We need to not be afraid of what comes after, we have to stand. :)
