Officer SOE/LoE/Where's "here"?
Matthew 5:23-24
New King James Version (NKJV)
23 Therefore if you bring your gift to the altar, and there remember that your brother has something against you, 24 leave your gift there before the altar, and go your way. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift.

Sorry about the delay, very long day. This is one of those verses that need little amplification. If you are doing good works and sacrificial works for God, don't bother if you are at odds with your Christian brothers and sisters. Make it right with your brother or sister in Christ, then come do your sacrificial works for God.

So true. It also goes hand in hand with the Lord's Prayer:

Matthew 6:!2
And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.

Just as it is impossible to find peace with God when we are at odds with one another, it is impossible to receive forgiveness if we are unwilling to forgive one another.

Certainly gives new meaning to the phrase "can't we all just get along?". My prayer is we answer YES.
