Luke 2:36-38 New King James Version (NKJV)

Anna Bears Witness to the Redeemer
36 Now there was one, Anna, a prophetess, the daughter of Phanuel, of the tribe of Asher. She was of a great age, and had lived with a husband seven years from her virginity; 37 and this woman was a widow of about eighty-four years,[a] who did not depart from the temple, but served God with fastings and prayers night and day. 38 And coming in that instant she gave thanks to the Lord, and spoke of Him to all those who looked for redemption in Jerusalem.

I wanted to tell this message on Christmas, but my post vaporized. This is a better Scripture than the one I wanted before. Here the Christ child is revealed to Anna, who had served God patiently her whole life, and now in her advanced age gets the best news ever. What does she do with this news? She starts telling everyone she can. We too have this wonderful news. In the New Year let's tell everyone we can the Redeemer has come, died, and been raised again for our redemption from sin.
