Combined with the death and resurrection you have the complete package of Salvation for all who believe in the Messiah. This passage sums up the complete audacity of salvation in one verse, The Word, Jesus, the One and Only Son, became flesh to live with us. To fully identify with us, without sinning in the process, became a smelly diapered little one, to experience first hand the process of growth as a man, then to die for our sins. What audacity, what a wonder.
