trying new games

I am looking at trying Fallen Earth, Torchlight, and Perfect World International. Still like WoW the best. But what are everyone's takes on these?

I enjoyed the story elements and some of the combat when I did the Fallen Earth open beta, but still felt a bit undercooked. I'm sure it's come a long way since then. Torchlight rocks my socks, it's cheap, and it's a diablo clone which has bajillion mods for it. Perfect World... no. Just no. :|

Perfect World is not good as you say. I like Torchlight but I cant seem to get addons or mods to work. Havent tried Fallen Earth yet.

Fallen Earth...needs some work...gets boring fast...

PWI...I have never played it, but I read LOTS of forum posts and reviews...and the overall feelings from western gamers is that it is a good free game, but gated content is more for eastern gamers... Because supposedly the game gets very gated after level 20...

Torchlight...heard it is good, but never played it...

My suggestion...look into FFXIV, it is coming out Sep 30th...or...watch out for the Lotro F2P patch...it is a good game...

I didn't care for Diablo, but I did like the WarCraft III bonus Orc campaign. Torchlight is basically an extended version of that WC3 campaign with pets and not set in Azeroth (which, IMO, is a good thing).

That being said, I passed on the game when it was $5 because I have enough trouble with my wrists and Torchlight, at least for me, is carpal tunnel syndrome waiting to happen.

Yeah, Torchlight is crack in colorful digital form if you have even passing interesting hack-n-slash dungeon crawling.
