Troubling Times

I have a prayer request. I just moved into Kansas State University. My girlfriend is back at home in Arkansas. It has been really hard on both of us with me leaving. We both really love each other and dont want this to ruin our relationship. So just pray that we both can be strong through this. Also it has been putting a lot of stress on me which I dont need for my classes. Thanks.
 
We will definitely be praying for you. Long distance relationships are tough, but remember, absence makes the heart grow fonder, or something like that. Sorry you have to be apart at this juncture in your life, but remember, God is giving the two of you the space you need to be the people He wants you to be. My best friend and his fiancee were long distance for 3 years while she went to school in AZ. When she came back, she had developed her own perspectives on life (both are Christian) and he had grown up more. I know it feels like weakness right now, but God has a way of turning that into a strength. Both of you are in our prayers.
 
Okay here is an update. I forgot to mention that I got here on Saturday and it is now Tuesday. Me and my girlfriend were doing good about me leaving until today. It really hit me hard this morning. So hard I was in tears. Hit hit her hard tonight. I just got off the phone with her. She was in tears. We both miss each other so much. We both are worried but dont know what we are worried about.

I'm gonna be honest here. I prayed about me leaving for well over a month. From what I can tell God wants us to be together as of the moment. It just feels right and we both are comforted by it. I think the devil is trying to pull us apart because we have both given this relationship to God. So please continue to pray that God will guide us and help us through this time.

Update: Me and Breigh (that's my girlfriend's name) are doing better. We are still having a little bit of a hard time, but we are going to make it. Thanks so much for the prayers guys. It has really helped. God is starting to comfort both of us. Thanks once again.

Hey man, I'm in the same boat. My girlfriend leaves for Washing D.C. next Friday... 10 hours away. We've been going out for 2.5 years and neither of us want out.

Another update: Tonight was not a good night. It was an almost complete 180. It is hard to explain what exactly happened. You would have to read the texts that we sent to each other. Let's just say that we are really unsure what will happen now. No we arent breaking up or anything, just tonight was a night of uncertainty. I am really unsure what is going to happen.

I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your heart through faith. Update: We are doing great. Things have been going good. Thank you all for your prayers. They have really helped. We both have been comforted and have been given strength. We still have a little ways to go but we are getting there. Thanks again.
