Tribe of Judah started with a single post on the Battle.net forums on May 19, 1999. The next day, Tribe of Judah was officially established and we've been up and running ever since.

We'll be celebrating the start of our 11th year near the end of May. Tribe of Judah staff are currently planning events for a full week of celebration.

If you have any ideas for events, please post them here.

Elihu could sing "Thanks for the Memories" on TS :D .

Hey it's a free thread bump don't knock it :p

I'll try and be there for this one :) last time I was on linux so I couldn't hear you fellas...

I wouldn't be opposed if we had an old-school CS1.6 night.
That is an excellent idea.

Anyone with access to a beefy connection (i.e. with far a better upstream rate than residential broadband connections) willing to set up and host a Counter-Strike 1.6 server for a week or two?

/bump

Six days left until the celebration starts...

tek, if I may suggest this, if you want a CS 1.6 server, you can get a 16 man public server for 10 dollars a month. I rent a 10man private server from them, and they let you cancel and anytime, and the servers are about the quality of gamerservers.com, just a little extra work needing to be put in by the server owner.

I'd prefer not to spend any extra money at this time. :(

EDIT: It doesn't take a beefy computer to run a CS 1.6 server and I think even a nicer residential connection could handle bandwidth for a 10-slot server. I'd volunteer to set one up, but I doubt I'll have the time to set it up before the 11th anniversary celebration week begins.

I've posted the first draft of the 11th anniversary celebration week schedule.

I'm about to write and send a mass e-mail to all Tribe of Judah members with a link to the schedule thread as well as some event details.

May 25th tf2 events.

I would love to have one player on cheatroids vs a whole team where they try to stop the team from completing the objective, and if not that then musical chairs arena mode with lots of human fireworks. (party-hats are a must :D)

There could be a lot of wacky stuff that could be done on the 25th, but I am looking forward to the new maps.
