Several Rangers have ascended recently in our guild. Elindar Longwood already participates in trapper teams. My Ranger does too. We need to take a team to the UW and break everybody in. 4 man teams are ideal. If enough guildies are up for UW at the same time we could take a full 8 man hybrid team of trappers and others and do quests instead of smites (quests is where you get the spider). My in-depth posts on trapping are the fifth and sixth posts on the page. I tried to go into some detail so maybe its worth the read. Lets set a date and time and go for it.

I am way looking forward to tring trapping. But 12 in WS is the best I can do, I have a Mo/R (ranger secondary). I also just switched my Warrior to ranger secondary, so I could take him, I would like to get the spider for him. I have all the traps on both and will buy what ever spirits I am missing.

Unfortunately I will not be available till after the first of the year, I'm headed to mexico on a mission trip to work with the poor. So, I hope everyone had a great Chirst filled Christmas and has a great new year.
 
Chickensoup.....Halonic Mjolner was my original character in Guild Wars. He was a hammer warrior. In the mythology of the Norse Gods, Odin was the "master god". He had two sons. One of them was Thor. Thor's hammer was named Mjolner ( I only know this because I read Thor comic books when I was young). Halonic Mjolner reached level 20 but I never ascended him. Star Slobberknocker was our other warrior at that time and I couldn't see having 2 out of 4 toons be warriors so I deleted him. I started over with a Ranger and just kept the same name. Its kinda funny cause my Ranger is a girl named Halonic. No one in-game has ever commented on this.

Draken......glad to see you have your priorities straight. Give those folks the best present they have ever received......the good news about Jesus. We'll take you trapping when you get back no matter how many WS points you have. We'll try to get you a spider too. Let me know when you return and we'll plan a trip thru the forum.

Perhaps others would like to get the spider too? We can only get one spider per trip but a guild group is a great way to get one.

Not true. I specifically remember asking you where you came up with that. And you told me that you had no idea. LOL :)
 
Mr. Slice....great to hear from you. Let me clarify...........Halonic is a made up name. It came out of thin air. It means nothing, signifies nothing. One of my old logins was hunter22_63. This was my in-game name on Americas Army for a long time. One day I tired of being hunter22_63 and decided to come up with a single word name that perhaps no one else used. Voila.....Halonic. Still it seems to be a masculine name to me. Thats what I was referring to...that no one had questioned why I had a masculine name on a girl character.

Astrod00D...........Unless the rules have changed there is no trapping in Battlefield 2. Come on over someday or schedule a time on the forum, you know I will be there.

We have at least 5 or 6 Rangers who are ascended now. What are we waiting for? One thing......trap runs are not 15 minute runs. Plan on allotting some time to kill all the smites and/or get the spider. Guild groups rule!

Pastori and Dredd.......I trapped for a while with 3. You can do a good job with 3 traps.

The elite 4th trap (Spike Trap) is only available by skill cap in the Ring of Fire mission according to gwonline. Velp Painbrain is the bosses name.
 
I may start a ranger soon, my turnaround for 1-20 is usually 1-2 weeks, so i may be trapping with you in the underworld. i need to get my necromancer up and ascended, buy +7 energy monk armor, and give enough time that i dont go numb playing the storyline over :(
 
i deleted my war because he was under used and warriors are the most boring things to use. The only fun thing was running, and i dont like charging money.
