Traders in the Guild Hall

There was an old thread about wanting a Dye Trader in the Guild Hall. Vibrokatana just graciously purchased one with his own funds for 50k (many thanks Vibro).

I looked and there are only three left that we do not have. A Material Trader (100k), a Rare Material Trader (100k), and a Scroll Trader (50k).

Well, I can't let any of you youngsters outdo me so I bought the Material Trader.

We are down to 2. I understand that there is some money that was raised previously for the Dye Trader thats still available.

Here is my challenge to you. Raise enough money from the guild to buy the Rare Material Trader and I will purchase the Scroll Trader myself.

Then you won't have to go to Lion's Arch or Droknar's to conduct your business and have to run forever between spawn point and storage. Every trader thats available in these large towns will be available in the Guild Hall.

You won't even have to call up the map to get there. Just press "G". On the guild roster screen in the top right corner is a button that says "Guild Hall". Press it and you are instantly transported there. Voila.

I downplayed the need for some of these traders in another thread but the bloodlust is upon me. Its also nice to have more Guild Wars money than sense.

Like I said the bloodlust was upon me. I bought em all. Hope to run into more of you in the Guild Hall.

We need to let our Alliance partners know about our traders too. When you press "G" click on the "Alliance" tab and you can visit our allies guild halls. They can use the traders just like we can.

A suggestion: give Pastori the money already raised so he can use it for guild events or helping out guildies? Just a thought.

Now we won't have to read some of the trash that pops up on local chat when we go to conduct our transactions.

I agree about the remaining funds already purchased, please pass them on to Pastori (at least my measly contribution anyway) for future guild use.
 
To clarify,

I still have that money. I beleive it totaled around 40k on what I had set aside for it. (I can confirm this later... I'm still at work). Now that I'm back from vacation and settled a little bit, I should be back online more frequently again, if anyone wants to do fundraising.

Good thought :)

I was about to give up and return them to the donaters before I left for vacation. When I came back I saw that someone had purchased it and was going to persue either giving what I had collected to him (Vibro) or giving it back to the original donaters.

I was also planning on donating a small amount for the traders, so I will just pass that on to Pastori instead

I was doing just what you said, running back and forth between traders in Kaineng Center. Then Vibro told me, "You know we have all the traders in the Guild Hall." So off I went. I was able to get the rest of my materials AND see Vibro's new Obsidian Armor, too.

I was able to go back to KC and go straight to the Armor Crafter. So much easier.
