If there are any of you that are currently playing any of the Battlefield Series of games (ie. 1942, Vietnam, BF2, BF2142) please let me know over in the BF Chapter forums. I just took over leading that chapter with the release of Battlefield 2142 and I'm looking for recruiters and/or co-leaders as well as anyone interested in getting together for some games online.
If you haven't tried 2142 yet, I recommend it. The demo doesn't do it justice. The buddy list and the ranking and unlock system are two of the biggest highlights over BF2. The maps are great and most of them have some very intense action. Most of the fighting is more concentrated and will have you depending on your teammates. And of course, who doesn't want to hop into a Battle Mech with a buddy and chew up some bad guys? The new Titan mode is pretty cool and has you capture silos instead of control points to bring down the shields of the opposing titan battleship. Once the shields are down it's close quarters intense fighting as you try to make your way to destroying their reactor core.
