:D How many of us here are still in the process of learning not to be offended? I know I am. Of late I brought up an unpopular stance, which is standing up for what God's word of Truth Teaches and no it did not have anything to do with the great commission. Tell me is not Jesus the living word who became flesh and dwelt among us? Yes of course! Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life. I will not be offended in Jesus, The Truth! I truly believe that the Word of God has Truth in it to help us grow up in the faith that God has given to us, and yes the great commission is a top priority. However if we do not seek the Truth in the Word of God how do we grow in Faith and how can one really be able to share the gospel of Jesus Christ to a lost generation? So am I offended in the Truth that is Jesus Christ? No! This is what Jesus said in Luke 7:23 "Blessed is he, whoever shall not be offended in me". Well than I am blessed and those who are offended in the Truth are not. Many are offended here it would seem by me Jeshurun but let me point out that it is not me but the Truth of God's Word that offends, and as the saying goes "the truth hurts'. If the Truth of God keeps getting locked up in here because of its truthfulness then what is the point of this "Religious Discussion" forum or even the entire CGA forums? This place will fall for lack of Truth, the Truth of God. You may be able to ban Jeshurn here, but you will never be able to ban the Truth of the Word of God. Bless you all. I have a couple quick questions for you Jeshurun if you don't mind. your name indicates your Jewish, is it true?(in heritage not faith) and do you consider your posts to be sincere?

I know you work hard on your posts and would like as many people to read them as possible, so maybe if you could just break up your posts into paragraph format, that would be easier on the eyes. Thanx man

Just trying to get an idea of who I'm reading from. I know absolutely nothing about you. There are cult followers that could write your exact words, however implied meaning is everything. Anyway, you can't help someone you know nothing about. From your posts you are giving advice for an audience you refuse to interact with. Its a shameful waste of potential. I do realised now that my questions seem loaded, but I really wasn't out for anything other than conversation.
well, my question about sincerity was halfway loaded due to your refusal of interaction. If you ever want to have a conversation as opposed to a speach on a soap box, you know where to get a hold of me ;)

I second that motion. If I can't read it easily it can't be important enough to you, or you would spend the extra 10 seconds to communicate it in a way that's easy for me to decipher. It doesn't take that long to add the occasional line break. This is Religious Discussion, not Religious Ramblings.

You may be able to ban Jeshurn here, but you will never be able to ban the Truth of the Word of God.

There's a difference between "sharing the gospel" and browbeating infidels with the Bible.

can i ask dv something why would a athests come on a Christian Religious Discussions forms and tell people that he dosent beleve in christ
 
If you're asking about me personally, you should make yourself aware of a huge distinction in atheism. Strong Atheists deny the existences of gods. Weak Atheists lack a belief in gods, due to a lack of evidence, proof and reason. I am a Weak Atheist, so please keep that in mind. Also keep in mind that I, like many atheists, were once theists. In my case, I was a Christian.

The main reason I am here is to get a better understanding of what your particular beliefs are and, more importantly, WHY you believe what you do.

Think of it as a fact finding mission.
 
It's not the truth that people object to, Jesh - it's the manner in which you choose to spread it. When you're talking about your religious faith you should always remember that you're an ambassador for Christ. When you say something to someone on here, you should ask yourself whether that's the way that Christ would say it.

Go back and reread some of your postings. And remember - you catch more flies with honey than lit lighter fluid. ;)

If you attempt to beat me over the head with the bible then I'll attempt to beat back. For whatever reason, it seems that I can hit harder than you at the moment, so if your message is inherently more powerful than mine, you should make the focus on the message, not on the strength of the debater.

That's how you win. But you have to be SURE about your message. You have to really know your stuff and keep your posts clear and simple.
