This is the prayer Jesus prayed in the Garden the night before He was crucified. He prayed for us - you and me.
Just a few verses before He had prayed, "My prayer is not for them [the disciples] alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message." John 17:20 (NIV) That is us.
To think - Jesus was thinking about us. Wow! How wonderful can it get!
