And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased. Hebrews 13:16 (NIV)

Ever wonder how to please God? Do good - share wih others - this pleases God.

As with yesterday - this is not about salvation but about pleasing God once saved.

I didn't comment on it - but I like the idea that doing good and sharing with others are often a sacrifice. Those are the sacrifices that please God.

I think about this as Lent approaches. Even though my church is Baptist many of us fast from something as a sacrifice. What if instead of fasting we committed to doing good and sharing every day of Lent? Wouldn't that make a difference!
