Well, just like to give a heads up to redeemed members. As a few of you know. Kuramave the Hunter was retired. But in his retirement Kuramave the Shaman has emerged. I have rolled horde side on Stonemaul and am enjoying playing the other side of the field. But I was rather suprised to be spit on by a couple of redeemed members after being ganked. Lets just hope the best for those individuals once I hit 60. And after being ganked by SamuraiJ in STV without warning.. I am looking forward to the challenge by my former guildmates. Hope all my friends are doing good and I will be sure to wave and blow kisses while your walking back to rez.. hehehe. God Bless, Chris aka Kuramave
 
Nice to see you again Kura! I'll be sure to give you a great big /hug before I turn your brain into Goo! I'm sure it wasn't Samuraij that would /spit on you, he plays with too much integrity. I can't stop people from using an emote, even one I think should be completely removed from the game. The /spit emote is one to be used by those who do not play with any integrity at all in my opinion.

Remember, play this game and interact with people exactly how you would like to be treated by them. If you want to be treated as a player with integrity then be a player of integrity. Simple as that.
 
Nah, I don't really mind being /spit on. It lets me know I am playing well. It wasn't SamuraiJ who /spit on me. He just gacked me at Nessingwarys. Oh well, 18 levels to go before I search him out =P.
 
In defense, Battle and war can be a hairy and frightening thing, tension get High. the spiting, is harsh, But as the post leads you to think, your actions are visble and your Guild tag is represented by you.

I am the 1st in line when horde NEED killing, But a little Honor goes along way.
 
Whoa, thats a good idea.

Cancel the original account while keeping the characters, then with the same money you meant for your old account create a new one on the same server! HOLY COW I should do that sometime...

To clarify, i thought being ganked by an old guildie was the funny part, definately not the spitting.
 
Lol, guess who I saw spaming frostshock and waving in AV today!!! I hope Kura still reads these pages. I tried to /wave /hug /lick him but kept getting owned before I could type it all out.
 
Ghost wolf, Chain lightning, Earthshock. Ghost wolf when I pitifully try to catch them if they have the wsg flag, chain lightning is unforgettable for its 4k crits, and earthshock for its instant-cast-interrupt-1.5kcrit nuke.

They can also walk on water and self-rez...aka the Jesus abilities.

Oh, and going with totems, they have windfury which can proc much harder than a seal of command proc. So, yes, the supposed "caster-hybrid" has as much, if not more, melee capability than the supposed "melee-hybrid" that are unworthily called "paladins."

Now you are telling me they have more abilities???? NURF THEM I SAY, then NURF THEM AGAIN.
 
I dunno about that...I'd rather keep the challenge as powerful as it is.

That way when I kill a shaman I won't get comments like "well of course you won! he got nerfed!"

Yes I was hoping you'd see me anadi =). And where do I start with this!?

1. The video you saw is a walking time bomb. He also has all end game gear and
some really hard trinekts to get. No different than any other class getting uber gear.
2. Why complain about any totem that takes one hit or a wand to kill.. go figure?
3. Why not spam purge, I get kicked, silenced,feared,dotted,whacked,shot,spit and mooned. I don't see what your talking about.
4. Spamming frost shock?? What else can a 51 do in AV?
5.Nerf Shamans a trendy thing to say? Yes
6. Who has a 60 shaman? anyone?
7.All videos you see are always high lights..never them losing and only when the uber crits proc. He probably dies as much as any other.
8. I didn't sell my account, I deleted my Hunter and gave all my cash and items to guild leader. Thank me for all the shards and cash. I started from the bottom again.
9.You got owned by a shaman, get over it.=P
 
The only problem I have with shamans is Purge, for 10% of the shamans base mana they can remove any buff. Arcane Intellect costs me 1511 mana to cast the shaman removes it for about 300 mana. Arcane Power or Ice Barrier are 31 point talents that can be removed for 300 mana bye any shaman. I pay some gold and get a swiftness potion and the shaman clicks his little button and the buff is gone.

I think the purge cost should be based on the spell cost of the buff being removed. If you remove arcane intellect or fort it should be something like 50% of the cost of the spell. If they remove a 31 point talent it should be something like 500 or 1000 mana.

There's really no where to start unless you took some ribbing rather personally. Come 1.10, I'll become the new mage and Holy Nova you to death :). Now, all seriousness aside, Shamans have been soloing MC since level 45. Frost shock, frost shock, totem, totem, purge purge, down goes luci. 'tis true, I did gone see it with my own two eyes I did.
 
It seems to me that they are a bit overpowered. with the whole totem thing. And now it seems that the horde are getting a new race in the expansion that can be pallys. So my guess would be that the alliance is going to be getting a race that can be a shaman.
