The requisite "Who else is considering buying this game?" thread

How about Global Agenda for $8?
I received Global Agenda as a gift while the game was still in beta. I like it and I would play it more often if I didn't already have 4 other FPS games (Unreal Tournament 3, Team Fortress 2, Left 4 Dead 2, and Battlefield Bad Company 2) to play.

I like the medic class in GA and I like the PvP. The PvE is okay. I don't recall if I've played any AvA in GA yet.

It depends on your budget and your preferences, but I'll go out on a limb and say GA for $7.49 is a great deal.

Well. I just bought Jedi Knight Collection for $5 on Steam. I need to not buy games... but at less than a buck a game (and such an amazing series that I only got to sample back in the day)... it seemed justified.

Guessing most of you already had it/burned through it/burned out on it... but it seemed relevant to the thread to point it out. :P

On the recommendation of my son-in-law I purchased Command and Conquer Red Alert 3, for 4.99 on steam.

Red Alert 3 is a fun game. ^_^ CNC 3 was also oodles of goodness.

Stay clear of CNC 4, it's garbage.

QFT.

It also has the absurd Ubisoft DRM that requires a constant Internet connection, even for the single-player campaign.

Not Ubisoft though, and it makes sense in the context that it's more co-op online ranking than a true single-player game.

Main thing is that it's not even a 3 hour long game, the game itself is nowhere near CnC, and the chat system is wonky. :p

Ok too much for a slow brained bear to handle, now my son-in-law bought Supreme Commander 2 for me to round out my confusion.;)

Supreme Commander 2 is more casual friendly for sure. It won't be long until you're building fire spewing mechalizards, UFOs that rain down plasma bombs, or sucking up units into a mobile vortex.

/fun game is fun

I played the demo for Supreme Commander 2 and enjoyed it. The only reason I didn't buy it when it was on sale was because I'm limited on funds and I only have time for one RTS game--and that's StarCraft II.

Still, if you're looking for a more forgiving RTS (StarCraft II is anything BUT forgiving), Supreme Commander 2 is a good pick.
