The Old Republic Sith guild update

Tribe of Judah Star Wars: The Old Republic Sith Em
As many of you know, I will be leading TOJ's Sith guild in Bioware's upcoming MMO: Star Wars: The Old Republic. I just wanted to direct everyone's attention to a couple things about the guild's progress and status as the game gets closer to launch (though there is still no official launch date).

First off, our guild website is ready to go, courtesy of SKLURB. You can find it here.

Second, this week the TOR website launched a new guild headquarters where in game guilds can be set up pre-launch! I set one up for us today, which you can find here. Go join up if you are interesting in playing the game! You'll need to make an account on TOR's website, which will also allow you to register for a chance to take part in the beta.
 
Awesome work, I'm getting really excited about this. I may not get back from Russia before the game release but I'll definitely be joining when I get back. Probably going bounty hunter or imperial agent.
 
I figured out how to actually accept the new members earlier today, so the guild roster is up to four people now. Another thing I would like to point out is that if you go to the guild application in your account information you can set which class you plan to play first. That could be some interesting information that would also appear on the guild roster. If you look at the roster now you will see that it lists two people as having a class listed and two more that are undecided.
 
I changed mine from undecided to Sith Warrior, tough call though as I could still be a sniper as a Imperial agent... maybe that'll be an alt.... Dual wielding FTW
 
Yeah, for me it is a tough decision between Sith Warrior, Imperial Agent, and Sith Inquisitor. In the KOTOR games my favorite play style was always the ranged force damage type, so that's what I went with for now. In WoW my favorite role was always tanking, which might suggest trying a Warrior, but then in other games I love sniping! I think the bottom line is that I'll be trying out multiple classes and figuring out which one to focus on when the game comes out.
 
Trying to figure out how to change my intended class from undecided to Bounty Hunter. I had initially intended to go with Imperial Agent, but it seems like a lot of people are doing that, and I like to go with the classes that fewer people do. Also, Boba Fett!
 
You can find that if you go into your account on swtor.com and look at the guild application. You don't need to fill out much of that, but you can pick which class you intend to play first in there.

From various public polls, it seems most players are more interested in playing Sith Warriors, Sith Inquisitors, or Bounty Hunters. There seems to be a shortage of Imperial Agent interest (and they have such an important role!), so maybe you would feel right at home playing one. =D
