That's why we have a general forum, and the PvP forum.
So that the General doesn't get clogged with PvP announcements...
And, more importantly, so the PvP announcements and discussions don't get lost in the sporkz and plorpz.
Argh! Must ... post ... off ... topic ...
So, my wife nudges me awake at 5:20 this morning because she hears the dog making wierd noises in the garage. I go out there to check on him and instead of almost knocking me over when I open the door, it almost sounded like he was outside the garage door begging to come in for a second. I go further into the garage to investigate and find him laying between the cars with his rear end half under the minivan. For our dog, this is VERY odd behavior.
After trying to coax him for a minute or two I go over and kneel down by him to check him out. I tried to pull him out from under the car and he quickly pushed his way back. At this point I realize that even though he is immobile, his tail is wagging like crazy, not like I would expect from a dog who doesn't want to stand up. I tried to help him stand up, but only got him to stand on his back legs, he insisted on keeping his front end down. Finally, I decided to try to pick him up (he weighs 50lb and does NOT like to be picked up). Strange thing was his front seemed to be stuck to the ground.
That's right, his chain link collar had somehow gotten stuck in a seam in the cement floor of the garage and he couldn't get it out. I finally managed to get him out of his collar and he took off more excited than I've seen him in a while. The collar was so wedged into the crack that I actually chipped the pavement trying to pull it back out.
The moral of the story is ... well ... uh ... if you wear a chain link collar, be careful where you sleep!?!
